However, they keep and eye on him and their egg as they don't want EGGS story to be repeated. It isn't, and the story ends with happy anticipation of the new Egg hatching.

Note:
As this piece is mask theater and uses a gibberish language dependent on individual actor voice and improv, there cannot be a formal script. However, there is a specific plot and actions that need to be followed. Given this, the best approach to a working script seems to be a short story. The following is that story and should provide all the guidelines for a successful, entertaining event.

There are, of course, aspects of the prose that will not translate, like the narrative voice. However, the immediacy of live theater (actors, mask, costume, sound, lighting, multi-media, etc.) should compensate for this and in fact raise the short story into the universal. That is the goal.

As you proceed with production, please remember language is only 25% of communication and an attention to the subtle details of movement, pace, rhythm and style, will aid you tremendously.
Thank you for keeping this note in mind, and enjoy.

They refuse and put her to death. On the edge of death, she prophesies the child the Elders cut from her will be their demise, which the final dream sequence proves true.
